But that&#8217;s not the only way to win! In addition to the standard win conditions in Yugioh!, there are a handful of alternate win condition cards, like <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/duelingnexus.com\/wiki\/Exodia_the_Forbidden_One\">Exodia<\/a><\/strong>, <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/duelingnexus.com\/wiki\/Destiny_Board\">Destiny Board<\/a><\/strong>, <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/duelingnexus.com\/wiki\/Final_Countdown\">Final Countdown<\/a><\/strong>, and more. As expected, these alternate win conditions can be very difficult to pull off. But, there is no shortage of decks and build that focus entirely on meeting these condition. And, such is the case for one of hardest conditions to pull off: <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/duelingnexus.com\/wiki\/Vennominaga_the_Deity_of_Poisonous_Snakes\">Vennominaga the Deity of Poisonous Snakes<\/a><\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\">\n<figure class=\"alignright size-large is-resized\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/yugi.wiki\/assets\/card-images\/common\/16067089.jpg\" alt=\"\" style=\"aspect-ratio:0.6856828899775651;width:261px;height:auto\"\/><\/figure>\n<\/div>\n\n\n<h3 id=\"vennominaga\" class=\"wp-block-heading\"><em>Vennominaga<\/em><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">What is Vennominaga? Well, she is, as her name suggests, a snake goddess. A very potent one, at that! If you are able to summon her and use her ability, she will win you the game. But, her summoning conditions and effect can be very hard to achieve. Firstly, she has to be Special Summoned via the effect of the Trap Card <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/duelingnexus.com\/wiki\/Rise_of_the_Snake_Deity\">Rise of the Snake Deity<\/a><\/strong>. And this Trap Card can only be activated when a <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/duelingnexus.com\/wiki\/Vennominon_the_King_of_Poisonous_Snakes\">Vennominon the King of Poisonous Snakes<\/a><\/strong> you control is destroyed by a card effect. Now, Vennominon is tricky card to summon in his own right! A Lv. 8 Reptile that cannot be Special Summoned by other monsters&#8217; effects. Tricky!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">If you can manage to summon the King, destroy it, proctor the Trap, and Summon Vennominaga, your work is still not done. You must deal damage to your opponent&#8217;s LPs three times with her. Then, and only then is her win condition satisfied. Not an easy feat. But, aside from her alternate win condition, she is still a fierce force. You see, both Vennominaga and Vennominon gain 500 ATK for each Reptile in your GY, AND they can revive themselves from your GY if they fall. So, if these cards are so strong, who do players so rarely use them?<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 id=\"snake-diety-decks\" class=\"wp-block-heading\"><em>Snake Diety Decks<\/em><\/h3>\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\">\n<figure class=\"alignleft size-large is-resized\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/yugi.wiki\/assets\/card-images\/common\/17189677.jpg\" alt=\"\" style=\"width:255px;height:auto\"\/><\/figure>\n<\/div>\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Why don&#8217;t players use Vennominaga? Primarily because it is too cumbersome to set-up. It takes a lot of planning and dedication to set-up, it is easily interrupted, and it is too slow. Oftentimes, you can win the duel much faster in other ways, even using decks that could run Vennominaga. And, even without triggering her win condition, she can even win games just through brute force once she is summoned. Even so, there are still builds and cards that work well with this serpentine sister.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Technically speaking, Vennominaga and Vennominon are part of the Venom archetype. But, that archetype is very, VERY bad. Usually the two archetypes used with Vennominaga are Reptilianne and Ogdoadic. Reptiliaane can use Vennominaga, and is a decent archetype, but still far from top-tier. Ogdoadic, however, is much better suited to running Vennominaga. The Reptile Ogdoadic archetype is built around sending Reptiles to your GY, the perfect foundation for our Vennom goddess and King!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">One of the most popular methods to summon Vennominaga is to send your King to the GY with a card like <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/duelingnexus.com\/wiki\/Foolish_Burial\">Foolish Burial<\/a><\/strong>, <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/duelingnexus.com\/wiki\/Ogdoadic_Water_Lily\">Ogdoadic Water Lilly<\/a><\/strong>, or <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/duelingnexus.com\/wiki\/Foolish_Burial\">Snake Rain<\/a><\/strong>. Then, Special Summon him with a card like <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/duelingnexus.com\/wiki\/Vipers_Rebirth\">Viper&#8217;s Rebirth<\/a><\/strong>, or <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/duelingnexus.com\/wiki\/Call_of_the_Haunted\">Call of the Haunted<\/a><\/strong>. Once he is on your board, and you have Rise of the Snake Deity set on your Field and ready to activate, you destroy the King with own card effect, then, you are on your way to Vennominaga!
