How To Play
Welcome to my Prediction Princess Deck List for 2023. Being piloted by Aura Sentia in ARC-V and making their card debut in Duelist of Destiny, the “Prediction Princess” monsters are a variety of on-theme fortune-telling deities and mythical beings. The non-ritual “Prediction Princess” monsters are Flip monsters who utilize strategies within Flip effects to gain player advantage while keeping control of the field. This sounds cute initially; however, you’ll soon discover the devastating power lurking within.
The best approach for a deck of this caliber is to go from starters, main monsters, then combos, as it’s an “easy to learn, hard to master” type of deck and archetype. If you’ve played any ritual deck, the usage of Diviner of the Herald should come as no surprise, along with Pre-Preparation of Rites and the “Impcantation” to keep things constantly in motion. These are your starters.
Next, for our main monsters, we have Prediction Princess Tarotrei and Prediction Princess Tarotreith. You’ll want to have Tarotrei on your field as her effect allows you to SS a flip monster from your hand or GY on your End Phase, which is very important to our next section. Tarotreith, upon being flipped over, allows us to SS one flip monster from the deck to the field, another piece to this brilliant puzzle. The main floor flip monsters you’ll be playing in this deck are Deus X-Krawler (negates all opponent’s activated monster effects on the field), Pot of The Forbidden (drawing, destruction, and returning field S/Ts), Whirlwind Weasel (disallowing opponent S/T usage), and Guard Dog (disallowing opponent Special Summoning.
Now that you know the players, it’s time to get into the main combo.
To summarize, NS Diviner, eff to send Trias Hierarchia to the GY (if already in GY or hand, you can send a Herald); Tribute Diviner with Trias, then chain eff to SS Valkyrie Sechste then SS Valkyrie Funfte. Activate both of their effects, then Link them into Lib the World Key Blademaster if you want Deus X-Krawler on the field (you can also go into either Herald of Mirage Lights for negation, Condemned Darklord for LP, or I:P Masquerena for linkage on the enemy turn).
Next, Ritual Summon Tarotrei and end your turn. On the End Phase, SS Tarotreith from either the hand or GY and use Tarotrei’s eff to flip it over. Treith will activate, and you can SS either Weasel or Guard to the field FD, then it can set itself face down again. On your opponent’s turn, activate Trei’s effect to flip Treith again, SS the next FD monster, and use Treith to flip up Deus, Guard, and Weasel.
If done correctly, you’ll disable not only S/T usage but also SS, and the effects of face-up monsters your opponent controls on the field.
Additional Deck info
Once you know what your opponent is playing, you can trade out the Trias and Valkyries for any of the side’s hand traps or whatever cards you decide to throw in yourself.
I was contemplating removing Impcantation Chalislime for another Bibliomuse or even removing the World Legacy Monstrosity for it. For reference, if you want to get both Pot of Forbidden and Deus on the field, target Trias and SS them. Try to go for a Rank 9 XYZ like Phantom Fortress Enterblathnir, as they’re both destroyed during the End Phase anyway, you might as well get some use out of them.
