The September 2024 TCG banlist goes into effect today, that means a new ranked season is starting on Dueling Nexus, as well as Battle Pass season 6! Here is a full list of new features coming out with the new TCG banlist:
- A Ranked Season reset, featuring the new September 2024 TCG Banlist.
- A new Battle Pass, featuring all-new exclusive Avatars, Sleeves, Borders, Frames, and Playmats based on popular archetypes, such as White Forest, Fiendsmith, Trickstar, and more, all hand drawn by Muraselune and Kazene!
- A New Rarity: Platinum Rare.
- Platinum Rares can be acquired from the Battle Pass, or by spending 500 Credits in the Boutique.
- A Boutique Refresh, with new Seasonal Items featured for the current season. Additionally, items from Season 2 and 3’s Battle Pass and Titles will be added soon!
What Else is New?
- Reconnections are here! If players disconnect from a game, they will now automatically be prompted to reconnect to their game once connection is re-established. Additionally, if players accidentally quit out the game, they will be able to reconnect by re-opening the game tab. And if players encounter issues in-game, they may be resolved by refreshing the page!
- Donations are back! With our new provider, users can now donate not only with PayPal like before, but now with Credit Cards, Debit Cards, and GPay! We’re thrilled to offer you this website completely free, and we hope you’re enjoying every moment of it! WHAT COMES NEXT?
We plan to release a few new features during the course of the season, including:
- Additional Battle Pass Tiers, including additional cosmetics themed after Tenpai, Ancient Gear, Ashened City, and more, all hand-drawn by Muraselune!
- Timer reforms, to address issues related to stalling and players going AFK.
- Reconnection Improvements, making gameplay even more seamless across platforms.
- New Contributor Tier, adding new features such as the ability to unlock custom Playmats and gain even more Contributor Drop rewards month.
- New Emotes, featuring new Dueling Nexus characters designed by Travagar.
