Edison Format
Classic Yugioh! comes in many different shapes, sizes, and formats. One of these formats is Edison! Edison format is a very popular classic take on Yugioh! This format is praised for its balance, variety, and gameplay. Edison uses the ban list, card pool, and rules as the game was in March of 2010. HAT Format

These three archetypes were used to dominate the 2014 NAWCQ. Other popular archetypes for HAT format include Geargia, Mermail, Bujin, Madolche, Gladiator Beast, Gishki, Spellbook, Sylvan, and more! Like Edison, HAT is praised for its variety and creative decks as well as its slower, more strategic gameplay.

Edison and HAT are very popular classic Yugioh! formats, but there are more! GOAT format is also a popular format, centering around the game state of 2005 when Scapegoat control was at its peak. There is also the 2019 TOSS format, standing for Thunder Dragon, Orcust, Sky Striker, and Salamangreat.
