Who is Edison?
Yugioh! Edison format was pioneered by an inventor named Thomas… No, no, no! Edison format is not named after a person, but rather a place: Edison, N.J. This alternative format is based on the state of the game after the March 2010 Shonen Jump Championship (SJC) in Edison, N.J. The format features slower, strategic gameplay than modern Yugioh!, and offers a glimpse into how Yugioh! used to be played. The format is often praised for its strategic and tactical deck building.
Edison Decks
There is a wide variety of decks used in Edison. From Blackwing to Lightsworn to Machina to Frog to HERO, there is something for every player! Some decks focus on a sole strategy, like Lightsworn, while others take a more tactical approach, filling decks with counter cards, interruption, and powerful staples.
