What is the dueling Nexus Partner Program?
The Dueling Nexus Partner Program is a way for Content Creators to connect with their followers, expand their network, and join a growing community of fellow Content Creators. In essence, partners will receive their own Partner Code, unlimited Contributor Time, ability to promote their content in our platform, and much more!
What are the benefits of the dueling Nexus Partner Program?
In essence, partners will receive a Partner Code, something exclusive to them, which users can redeem in the Boutique. Upon using this code, the user would receive special unlocks, including XP, Credits, Rarity Tokens, and most notably, some kind of cosmetic (such as avatars and sleeves) themed specifically chosen by partners to be added into the game (this can include branding or logos, but also artworks they own the rights to they’d like to see their followers use in-game).
This accompanies the Content Creator Leaderboards page, a list of all partners ranked by how many users have supported them in the platform. This leaderboard will include all links to their social medias, such as Youtube, Twitch, Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, Tiktok, and Discord. Higher ranked partners will have higher visibility and are more likely to have their content featured on our homepage, which on average receives 50-70k unique visitors a day. This gives partners a unique opportunity to gain new viewers and followers.
Additionally, all partners will receive exclusive platform benefits, including a Verification Mark in-game so players know they’re the real deal, access to promoting their content within our social media accounts (including Facebook, Twitter, Reddit, and Discord), unlimited Contributor Time to never again encounter ads in the platform and receive monthly Contributor Drops, and access to an exclusive channel within our Discord Server so you may have direct contact with our developers and staff.
How do I join the dueling Nexus Partner Program?
Currently, our minimum criteria for content creators is that they have one of the following:
- A Youtube channel where at least 1 in every 10 videos posted averages a minimum of 1000 views
- A Youtube channel with at least 5000 subscribers
- A Twitch channel that consistently averages at least 10 concurrent viewers regularly
- A Twitch channel with at least 1000 followers
- A community Discord or subreddit with at least 5000 members.
- Or that they run some kind of Yugioh-dedicated social media account with a decently sized following, such as a Twitter or Facebook page with 1000+ followers.
We will also make exceptions for smaller content creators who agree to exclusively use Dueling Nexus when recording or streaming simulator play (this does not exclude Master Duel, Duel Links, Remote Play, IRL Play, or other official forms of content creation). The only requirement there is that the creator be serious about being a content creator, and isn’t just trying to farm rewards (i.e. maintains a consistent schedule for uploads or streams, has a community they actively interact with, etc).
Currently, the Dueling Nexus Partner Program is invite only. However, users who meet the above criteria who would like to join the program can message _sky., kemne, or duelingnexus on Discord.

How do partner Codes work?
Partner Codes are custom, permanent codes that can be redeemed by users within the Boutique in-game. Each code can only be used once per account, and on use, will unlock exclusive rewards tied to the partner. This can include XP to level the Battle Pass, Credits to spend within the Boutique, Rarity Tokens to customise the appearance of cards, and unique cosmetic items such as Avatars, Sleeves, Frames, Portraits, Playmats, and Titles. The specific cosmetics included will be unique to each partner, and can include things such as their own branding or logo, or artworks they own the rights to such as commissioned artwork, or some card artwork they are associated with. Additional rewards will be based on the size of the partner’s platforms upon joining.
How does the Content Creator Leaderboards Work?
The Content Creator Leaderboard page in-game now has a dedicated section to display Partners. All Partner’s accounts and associated social media and platforms (which include Youtube, Twitch, Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, Discord and Tiktok) will be featured next to their names. The order in which Partners appear in this list is based on how many times their Partner Code has been used by users in-game. This means that the more your Partner Code is used, the higher your ranking will be, and subsequently the higher your visibility within our site is.
How do I Submit a Video to be featured on Dueling Nexus?
Currently, a Video submission form is in development, and once available, will be accessible to all partners so they can directly submit content to be displayed on our homepage. Videos submitted are required to feature to Dueling Nexus in some capacity, be it in the form of a gameplay segment or a shout-out. This does not disallow other forms of content from being submitted, such as content regarding Master Duel, Duel Links, Remote Play, IRL Play, anime related content, or other official forms of Yugioh. The only thing we disallow is the use of other unofficial simulators, or content completely irrelevant to Yugioh.
Can streams, social media campaigns, and non-video content be featured on dueling Nexus?
Stream vods and highlights can be featured if uploaded to YouTube. We are currently exploring ways to integrate Twitch’s API to allow for stream and video previews to be displayed. Additionally, as each social media platform has their own API (some of which, like Twitter, are not free), they may be unable to be displayed on our main page. In that case, we can promote your content in our Facebook, Twitter, Discord, and Subreddit instead. Please contact _sky., kemne, or duelingnexus on Discord or contact us via [email protected] to get your content featured in our social medias.
I Produce Content Using other platforms. How do I transition to creating content using Dueling Nexus?
It is easy to move from other simulators to Dueling Nexus! Once an account is registered, you can visit the Deck page in-game and select the Upload Deck option. This will allow you to import .ydk deck files from other sources, such as YGOPro and its derivatives. Players can also browse for decks uploaded by other users by visiting the Yugioh Deck browser page in-game. Additionally, once your Partner Code is setup, your account will receive unlimited Contributor Time and a Verification Mark, so other users in-game know you are a partner.
In terms of other features, Dueling Nexus will automatically store all games played as Replays for 30 days, which can be viewed in the Replays page in-game. We also offer public matchmaking queues for TCG unranked single and match duels, as well as Edison single duels and TCG Ranked match duels. In the near future, this system will be updated with an Edison ranked match duel game mode, as well as a Featured Game Mode playlist which will rotate between several different formats similar to Master Duel’s Festival system. Pre-Errata cards and all Master Rules since 2008 are available for play, and Custom Games additionally supports a variety of game modes, including other Retro Formats such as HAT, Duelist Alliance, or TOSS. Even more Retro Formats are planned to be added in the near future.
Finally, the game offers exclusive features such as a completely free Battle Pass system, a Boutique to unlock in-game cosmetics using Credits earned from play, Achievements, a fully automatic Wiki, extensive user customisation, and much more!
Does dueling nexus offer features to protect my content against bad actors?
Dueling Nexus takes moderation and user safety in-game seriously, and we have put in place various safeguards against abusive and nsfw chat. We have a strong word filter which will censor both inappropriate chat messages and names, as well as a reporting system which can be found in our Discord Server. Additionally, users can disable chat messages from both opponents and spectators from appearing altogether. We will soon also be implementing a Streamer Mode feature, which will censor names and in-game cosmetics to combat stream sniping and harassment.
I encountered someone harassing or impersonating me in-game. How do I report them?
If you encounter a user impersonating or harassing you or someone you know, please report them to our Discord Server in the User Reports channel. Be sure to include a replay link of the game in question where you encountered them (a replay link from someone else is also okay) so we can track down their account and take action against it.
