Dueling Nexus has been updated!
We are proud to reveal a feature that’s been years in the making – Achievements! Achievements serve as unique one-time challenges for users, which upon completion, will reward them with exclusive in-game cosmetics! These include new Avatars, Sleeves, Playmats, Frames, Portraits, and the all new customisation option – Titles!
Achievements are broken down into 7 total categories – Victory, Summoning, Battle, Life Points, Activations, Deck, and Field. In total there are 100 challenges available, and each is ranked 1-5 based on their difficulty. Upon completing an achievement, the player will be notified in-game, and the cosmetic reward associated with that achievement will instantly be unlocked in their player profile page. Speaking of…
What are Titles?
Titles are a new form of cosmetic unlocks we are debuting with Achievements. They will be displayed beneath the player’s name in the in-game pre-lobby, and can reflect a user’s personality before the Duel begins.
The default title will remain the player’s Ranked Mode rank. To coincide with the addition of this feature, Ranked Mode rank icons have been added to the pre-game lobby as well, allowing users to still show off their rank regardless of what portrait or title they have equipped. From left to right, top to bottom, below are the rank icons for Unranked, Bronze, Silver, Gold, Platinum, Diamond, Master, Grandmaster, and Top 100. The last icon is the Contributor badge, used in our Discord Server as well as the ranked icon for Nyx in-game.
Titles can be equipped from the player profile page, under the Title drop down menu beneath the player’s name.
