Today’s feature update is a highly anticipated one that’s been in the works for over 2 years now – The Boutique! The Boutique is a unique hub where Duelists may come to exchange their credits for exclusive cosmetic goods, including Avatars, Sleeves, Playmats, Frames, Portraits, Titles, and Rarity Tokens!
The Boutique is composed of 4 parts – Limited Time Bargains, Seasonal Offerings, The Rarity Exchange, and Code Redemption.
Limited Time Bargains
Limited Time Bargains offer a total of 12 items – 8 daily items, and 4 weekly items. Weekly items tend to be of higher value, and thus stay in the Boutique for longer. The offerings are completely randomised, and with over 600 items to obtain, there’s plenty of content to be found! The timer next to each item will inform them how long they will stay in the Boutique before being cycled out, so be sure to check it often for new offerings!
Seasonal Offerings
Season Offerings are 12 exclusive, hand picked items, featuring supplemental items for the current season’s Battle Pass theme, holiday-themed cosmetics, and more. Unlike the Limited Time Bargains, these items will stay in the Boutique until the new Season begins, giving Duelists plenty of time to get them!
Rarity Exchange
The Rarity Exchange is a staple of the Boutique, allowing Duelists to exchange their credits for Rarity Tokens. Unlike both the Limited Time Bargains and Seasonal Offerings, the Rarity Exchange is permanent, and can be purchased without restrictions.
Code Redemption
Finally, the Code Redemption allows Duelists to input codes for exclusive cosmetic items. These can include Partnered Yugituber’s Referral Codes, Giveaway Codes, Event Winner Codes, and more! The sky’s the limit, and codes will serve as an integral part of our community’s outreach as the platform grows.
We’re Not Done Yet
The Boutique represents a tremendous milestone that we can’t believe we’ve reached. As a celebratory gesture, we’ve given every user 1000 Credits to use in the Boutique. But it’s not the end for new features coming to Dueling Nexus. As a lot of you may be wondering, currently the only way to acquire Credits is by leveling up the Battle Pass. While the Battle Pass will continue to serve as an important method of getting Credits just by playing, we plan to introduce additional methods of acquiring Credits very soon.
