Deck Description
Special thanks goes to SonicNicholas1995 for sharing this deck with everyone, and to Lorelei for writing this description. I would like to show you one of the decks that I call Genesys Dark Magician. This is a casual deck. A fun deck is a non-meta one, but it's not necessarily bad. It's mostly just build using cards that are beloved by it's player. This deck uses the September 2025 Genesys banlist. This deck was first shared on 2025-10-05 and was last updated on 2025-10-28.
I like to go first at the start of the duel whenever possible with this deck. This is a Control deck. Control decks, which can often be stun and anti meta decks are capable of responding to large threats with minimal investment. They are inherently disruptive and have many layers of defense. This deck is moderately easy to play.
As you can see below, the main deck has exactly 40 cards.
I create all my decks using the Dueling Nexus deck builder because its the best one. The shuffle button is a quick way to see many possible opening hands before you even take this deck to a duel.
