Nyx’s Summertime Odyssey Returns!
Originally introduced back in May 2023, Contributor Drops are a new way to reward contributors, giving them unique themed Avatars, Playmats, Sleeves, Borders, and Portraits every month. The very first theme, Nyx’s Summertime Odyssey, included the Summertime Odyssey playmat, a beautiful Genshin Impact-inspired design created by Yomiyuarts. At the same time, we released an animated desktop wallpaper version of this design for PC through Wallpaper Engine via the Steam Workshop.
Seeing the popularity of this design, and to further reward our Contributors, we’ve decided to implement a Nexus-first Animated Playmat, featuring the iconic Summertime Odyssey design. This new animated playmat will be available to ALL contributors for the entire duration of their contributor status. This means that unlike Contributor Drops, which are time-sensitive exclusive cosmetic items which won’t ever be rerun, this new animated playmat will be acquirable at any time by anyone who becomes a Contributor, just like the ability to upload custom Avatars and Sleeves or not see any ads on the site.
