Deck Description
I have kept this deck to myself for a while, but I want to share it with everyone now so that it can be enjoyed by other people. Swordsoul has always been a fun deck to play and experiment with, with so many possibilities and potential it has. The satisfaction of winning a match, turning the tide of the battle with this deck is unbelievable as it has to face many better decks (especially Dragon Link I hate that thing). After experimenting for a while, I added Fallen of Albaz to the mix, pushing the deck potential further as it allows more bosses to enter the match.
The core of the deck is still Swordsoul and Tenyi with their power to flood the field with tokens, supporting the progress of synchro summoning powerful bosses like Chixiao, Chengying, Baronne, or Qixing Longyuan from the extra deck. By adding staples and handtraps, the deck has already become very good, capable of dealing with many meta decks. But as I notice the Synchro summon lock only exists when a token is on the field, I realize I can mix another archetype into the play, and so I take a look at Fallen of Albaz, a Fusion focused engine. They are simple, yet can be an absolute disturbance to my opponent when used properly.
With only a few card slots, Fallen of Albaz can summon many strong and versatile bosses from the deck. The niche thing about mixing these two archetypes is that Swordsoul Tenyi also has Light and Dark monsters, which are perfect for Branded spells and Fusions. All of that combined creates a very fun deck to use, which can catch many opponents off guard. The combo is very simple: Go for a normal Swordsoul Synchro summon like Moye - Chixiao - Longyuan - Chengying, then finish off with a Fusion monster with the help of Fallen of Albaz.
If I am going second, I will go with Fallen of Albaz first to mess up the opponent's setup, then return to the normal combo. This deck is very hard to brick and isn't vulnerable to negates, making it very good for new players and remaining useful for experienced players. This deck may not be completely hand-made by me, I only added some colors to the original deck, but I still love it with all my heart. Because of that, I find this deck very cool and want to share it for everyone to enjoy.
