TOSS
So, what is TOSS all about? Well, TOSS format is a version of Yugioh! played from mid-2019 to early-2020. This was one of the longest periods in Yugioh! history dominated by the same meta, earning this format the nickname the “Eternal” format. This format is widely praised for its elevated level of card interaction and strategic resource management. TOSS was also the final format to use the Master Rules 4, meaning that Extra Deck monsters had to be Special Summoned to the Extra Monster zone, or a zone that a Link Monster pointed to. Overall, this format is seen by many as the most “balanced” format.
TOSS Decks
TOSS is actually named after the top-performing archetypes of the time: Thunder Dragon, Orcust, Salamangreat, and Sky Striker. These archetypes, mixed with others, dominated the meta. But, even so, there was a lot of room in the format for rogue decks to top, too. Other common TOSS decks include Altergeist, Endymion, Danger!, Nekroz, True Draco, Cyber Dragon, Prank Kids, Magical Musketeer, and more!
